Brian Hersh is the Executive Director of Hersh-McCallie International Education. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mineral Economics from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s Degree in Finance from Loyola University Maryland. He has worked as an analyst and bond trader on Wall Street, taught as an adjunct professor at Missouri State University’s Dalian campus and was an academic advisor for the Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2006. Brian has been advising and counseling Chinese students since 2007 and has helped them gain admission to some of America’s most selective universities and boarding schools.

Liu Yang is a Founder and General Manager of Hersh-McCallie International Education. She earned her MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She has worked as a derivatives analyst for a Fortune 500 energy company in the US, a marketing manager for a bank in Hong Kong and as an administrator for a non-profit in Singapore. Liu has been helping Chinese students apply to selective American universities since 2003. Her insight into the special abilities and talents of her clients and her skill at designing a customized action plan for them has been fundamental to the success of Hersh-McCallie.

Tom McCallie is a co-founder and Director of Hersh-McCallie International Education. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Tennessee. He is also the former President and Executive Director of The Maclellan Foundation based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Tom’s wisdom, vision and leadership network have been an invaluable resource for Hersh-McCallie.
